I've Been Nominated!

A fellow blogger, Risa, at Who Shot Down My Stork? nominated me for the Liebster award!! How fun!  I'm usually a lurker on other's blogs, so never really expected to get noticed!  How exciting!  Thanks, Risa!  Hope this post can get you more readers.

This award is given to new or up-and coming-bloggers who have less than 200 followers. The award is then passed along to other bloggers in the same category to help spread the word and support one another. What a fun way to get to know other bloggers!

If you receive a nomination, there are a few rules to follow:
1) Each blogger nominated must post 11 things about themselves.
2) Then answer the 11 questions the tagger has asked.
3) Blogger must then create 11 questions of their own to ask the bloggers they decide to nominate.
4) They must choose 11 bloggers with less than 200 followers to nominate and link them on their blog post.
5) Bloggers must be notified of their award!
6) No tag backs!

Okay, 11 things about me:
1. DH and I met on MySpace (back before Facebook became popular).
2. I listen to Britney Spears... One of my guilty pleasures. 
3. I don't drink carbonated beverages. Never liked ever since I was a kid.
4. I'm allergic to cats.
5. I have a fear of drowning.  Seriously, I can't even take a bubble bath w/o having a panic attack.
6. Pizza and desserts are my weaknesses.
7. I have 3 dogs, and would probably have more if DH would allow me to.
8. I'm a Ford girl.
9. I'm a Windows girl (as opposed to Mac).
10. I "shock" people for a living.
11. I enjoy watching UFC (thanks to my hubby).

1. What is your favorite holiday? Halloween.
2. Are you a morning person or night owl? Definately a night owl.
3. What was the greatest moment of your life? Marrying DH.
4. Why do you blog? To express myself and to chronicle my journey.
5. What is your favorite waste of time? Watching my shows on the DVR and surfing the internet.
6. What is your favorite book or movie? This is a hard one.  Movie: Either Disney's The Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast.
7. When was the last time you cried?  I can't remember, honestly.  But it was probably about IF.  Maybe 2 weeks ago?
8. What causes are you passionate about? Animal rescue.
9. What did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher or a baby doctor (Neonatalogist).
10. Beer, wine, or hard liqueur? Hard liqour... love me a margarita or anything with vodka.
11. What was the most important lesson you have learned in life? Karma is for real.  You get out of life what you put in.
